At aLyne Ecology Ltd, we strongly believe in helping people get their foot on the ladder and give them the tools to become a successful ecologist.  We offer internships for people to join our team where you will:

• Shadowing our team of ecologists to learn what an ecologist does on a day-by-day basis including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Preliminary Roost Assessments, and protected species surveys.  

• Be given full in-house training for ecology skills.

• Writing ecology reports, analysing bat sound data, and reviewing night-vision camera footage with assistance from our team of ecologists.

 

We have quite a few dogs that join us in the office, as well as a very cuddly cat, so love of animals is important!

It’s best if you live fairly near to us, otherwise you will have long drives to and from the office.

​

Our normal day is from 9am to 5pm, although we offer flexible working hours.
